Mission Statement:
Coalition for Energy Justice – PWYP Egypt is dedicated to democratising energy governance by providing Egyptian communities with the information, resources, and platforms needed to actively engage in energy policy-making. They aim to encourage public involvement, provide well-researched advice to key decision-makers, and support clear and sustainable energy solutions. Their mission is to bridge the gap between decision-makers and the public, fostering a collaborative environment where every Egyptian has the power to shape the country’s energy future, and ensure that the global transition taking place is fair and equitable to Egypt (when it comes to Global North/South) and nationally where socio-economic inequality is widespread.
