Fundación para la Promoción del Desarrollo Sustentable, known as Fundación Terram, has been collaborating with PWYP since 2021 and has became a member organization in 2024. It is a Chilean civil society organization founded in 1997 as a result of the efforts of a group of professionals from different disciplines, motivated by the need to pose new challenges for the country and find political, democratic, environmental, social and economic answers to public problems that until then had not been adequately addressed.

Terram is inspired by the idea that environmental problems are public problems whose solution will not be possible without a democratic basis, guaranteeing respect for human rights and environmental justice. Over the years, environmental problems have become more relevant and complex, forcing the society to think about new ways of inhabiting the planet, because in a scenario as changing as the current one, it is necessary to analyze and reconsider the current development model. Given the scenario of climate crisis, pollution and loss of biodiversity, Terram is convinced that great efforts are required to stop the deterioration of the planet and thus reduce the impacts of these crises on the most vulnerable populations of human beings and ecosystems.
