Oxfam, NRGI and PWYP are excited to share the report Unfinished Business: Contract Transparency in The Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative, written by Aubrey Menard from Oxfam America and Rob Pitman from NRGI. The report was published at the EITI conference in Senegal in June 2023.

Since 2021, EITI implementing countries have been required to disclose the contracts between governments and extractive companies. But how many countries are complying with this commitment? This report reveals the true extent of contract disclosure, highlights trends, examples of best practice, and cases where disclosure is simply not happening.
