Founded in 2011, Tajikistan’s “Transparency for Development” coalition runs an informational campaign to promote the EITI and fight corruption and poverty in Tajikistan, particularly at sub-national level. The coalition’s 21 members aim to work closely with the government on effective revenue management, so people in poor regions can benefit from local resource extraction. The coalition will also work on the EITI pilot of disclosure of beneficial ownership.
