Derecho, Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (DAR) has been collaborating with PWYP since 2021 and has became a member organization in 2024. DAR is a Peruvian non-profit civil association with 20 years of work, contributing to the sustainable development of the country, based on the management and sustainable use of natural resources. Since 2004, DAR has been passionately dedicated to promoting development that respects the environment and focused on the sustainable management of natural resources, while respecting the human and collective rights of indigenous peoples.
DAR intervention is multilevel, multi-stakeholder and multidisciplinary, applying a cross-cutting gender, intercultural and intergenerational approach, and guided by its work formula: i. Knowledge generation and organizational learning; ii. Empowerment, articulation and strengthening of actors and institutions; and, Advocacy in public policies, citizen vigilance and promotion of positive impacts in the territory.
