In a concerted display of international solidarity, PWYP joined 240 organisations, academics and human rights defenders in signing this open letter demanding the release of detained anti-corruption expert, Gubad Ibadoghlu, who is currently under house arrest in Azerbaijan.
On the 22nd of April 2024, Dr. Gubad Ibadoghlu’s was granted house arrest, marking a significant step forward in his case. However, he urgently needs international medical attention. Gubad’s stand against corruption must not be the reason his health suffers further.
