PLQP Nigeria se lanzó en 2004 y ha respaldado la plena aplicación de la ITIE, que en Nigeria incluye la adopción de la Ley ITIE. PLQP ofrece capacitación de los agentes de la sociedad civil para comprender el proceso de la ITIE y difundir los resultados de los informes. La coalición también promueve debates públicos sobre las reformas del sector extractivo y otras reformas administrativas en el país. PLQP Nigeria también está implicada en la divulgación de los informes de la ITIE en los estados piloto y las comunidades locales.
