PWYP Нигерия была основана в 2004 и поддерживала эффективное внедрение ИПДО, которое в случае Нигерии включало в себя принятие Акта ИПДО. PWYP занимается повышением потенциала субъектов гражданского общества в понимании процесса ИПДО и распространении информации из отчетов. Коалиция также поддерживает публичные дебаты о реформах в горнодобывающем секторе и других управленческих реформах в стране. PWYP Нигерия также занимается распространением отчетов ИПДО в пилот-государствах и местных сообществах.
