Ассоциированная с PWYP организация «НПО за улучшение прозрачности в добывающей промышленности» была основана в 2004 и состоит из более чем 80 членов не только в столице, но и регионах. Коалиция сфокусировала большую часть своих усилий на поддержке эффективного и надежного внедрения ИПДО и увеличения участия со стороны гражданского общества. Коалиция также добивалась разглашения бенефициарной собственности и проводила кампании за прозрачность компаний, которыми владеет государство.
В данный момент дела у коалиции идут не лучшим образом, так как обстановка для гражданского общества в Азербайджане быстро ухудшается.
